WRITER VS AUTHOR
You are a Writer not an Author!
Don’t use misuse the words on medium.
Hello, word lovers! Today we’re going to delve into the wild world of punctuation more precisely.
What happens to these two beautiful words: author and writer?
Are they like cousins separated at birth, or are they really different? Let’s see!
An author is like a child drawing in class. They love to create from pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard).
That’s their jam, yo! They can create novels, short stories, poems, and even the occasional recipe.
Writers talk about art, about people. They live by words.
And writers are like the beautiful children of publishing. success! By the way, they are all good, legitimate writers.
Authors whose books end up on bookshelves and e-readers. They’re like the rock stars of literature minus the bands and sold-out tours.
But what about bloggers?
Can they call themselves writers too?
Well,
sort of. It’s like asking if a caterpillar can turn into a butterfly overnight.
